We
are an organization dedicated to furthering Republican principles
and helping Republicans win elective office. We are committed
to being active participants in the political process helping
with party building and distributing information regarding
candidates for local, state and federal office. We believe
in increasing public debate on important issues to help educate
the public on issues of importance. We strive to be a resource
to voters who want to learn more about candidates and various
elected offices.
The Downers Grove Township Republican Township Organization
is located in the southeastern portion of DuPage County and
consists of 126 precincts. It is the largest township in the
County.
The Township's boundary line is County Line Road on the east,
Woodward Avenue on the west, 39th street on the north and
the Cal Sag Canal on the south.
Our meetings are held at the Willowbrook Holiday Inn (Route
83, just north of I-55) at 7:30 p.m. every second Monday of
the month from September through May. There is usually a civic,
governmental or political speaker each month.
Our meetings are open. We welcome all individuals who would
like to attend!
